The goal of the Vandal Boosters, Inc., through its membership program known as the Vandal Scholarship Fund, is to fund all of the student-athlete scholarships awarded by the Department of Athletics at the University of Idaho.

In 1947, a small group of individuals each made a $100 contribution and formed a club to fund scholarships for athletes involved in the University of Idaho's sports programs. From the humble beginnings of the Century Club to Vandal Boosters, Inc., the mission of the Vandal Scholarship Fund (VSF) has remained consistent over the years. As the entity responsible for athletic scholarship fund raising, the VSF is committed to meeting the University of Idaho Athletic Department's annual scholarship needs and planning events that facilitate membership growth and annual giving.
